Dashboard guide

Welcome to the UK Utility Reporter company portal. Every report submitted by the public that falls within your coverage area is routed here automatically β€” no email hunting, no manual checking.

Viewing reports
Reports appear in the table above as soon as they are submitted. Click any row to expand it β€” you will see full details, any photo evidence, and private customer information if the reporter provided it. Use the filters to narrow by status, type, or submission date.
Statuses
Reported β€” newly submitted, no action taken yet. Visible to the public.
Acknowledged β€” your team is aware. The map popup shows this status to reassure the public.
Resolved β€” issue fixed. The pin is removed from the public map within 24 hours.
Posting public updates
Click πŸ’¬ Update on any report to post a message that appears on the map popup β€” immediately visible to everyone nearby. Use Emergency Notice for urgent information (shown with a red banner). You can edit or delete your own updates at any time.
Customer details
If a reporter left contact information, a customer card appears in the expanded row. This is completely private β€” never shown on the public map. A πŸ“ž Wants contact badge means the customer has asked to be called back directly. Once you have spoken to them, tick Customer has been contacted β€” the badge turns grey and the card turns green so your team knows it is handled.
Email notifications
Toggle the switch above to receive an email whenever a new report is routed to your company. Emails go to the address you registered with. You can turn this on or off at any time.
API access
Everything in this dashboard is available via a REST API β€” useful for integrating with your existing fault management or CRM systems. Use your API key in the X-API-Key header on all requests.
